Hi! I’m Kirsty Costa.

I’ve always been a bird appreciator, and in 2020 (amongst the chaos of Covid-19) I officially became a bird watcher. There are so many things I love about birdwatching - looking and listening, spending time outside, that feeling of calm. I’m deeply committed to making birding fun, inclusive and accessible for others as well.

I love amplifying the voices of everyday bird lovers, scientists, authors and artists. I’m a teacher by trade and enjoy translating complex science into something that you can understand.
